The Smart-UPS units have better front panel readouts than the Back-UPS units. You can see the functions indicated above. I like to have as much information as possible available to me.
Finally let's have a look at two units installed in a rack. They are quite attractive indeed. Actually these units make much more noise than non rackmount units. When they kick into battery power or turn on there are big industrial clicks, kerchunks and boings. Very cool.
